Finally, we have information on the Dynamics AX 2012 certifications. The Dynamics AX 2012 certifications have been a mystery for many as the combined exam paths of 2009 just sort of disappeared (things like MCITP: Developer, Applications, ect). For almost 2 years, many people have been begging to figure out which new certification exams correlate with the old paths. While Microsoft hasn’t formally announced this, they did give us some insight as Microsoft Certified Trainers. At first, I thought this was top secret, but I talked with a friend of mine at a consulting firm Friday, and he knew all about it – (and he isn’t a trainer). He also told me that all the partners already know about it, so there should be no issues posting this here. Anyway, here are the paths for Microsoft Certified Trainers.

You’ll see that there are 3 paths that correlate for us as Microsoft Certified Trainers – AX Dynamics Applications, AX Dynamics Developer, and AX Dynamics Installation. The exams that go for SL, GP, and NAV are also in there.

I post this here because the MCT certifications always correlate with the regular certification paths, so this is good news. Hopefully, this information will become easier to find on Microsoft’s website in the future.
